And I thought they also played 'Life on a distant planet' on that very same show. is that all wrong and mixed up with a 1979 performance, which then - of course - wasn`t their first? matt? now this all gets me pretty confused. do we have two appearances with the same setlists on RTE?

The imagery brings me back to my parents den with the orange shag carpet when I was a kid. The DVD also has "Street Mission" on Irish T.V's "Youngline" in March of 1978. Larry looks like he's 12. It has 8 other TV appearances on it from 1980-1981. Let me know if you want more info on it. Yep, Matt they’re one and the same. I have a DVD I got at a cool little store called Rolling Stone in Chicago titled "We Will Follow" (TV appearances 1978-1981) and it has this video on it "Life On a Distant Planet" from the RTE program. It's listed as October 1979 on the DVD sleeve. Nothing on the DVD gets any more specific than that, but at least it gives you the month.
